Industrial are scales designed to be used in specific industries, as their name suggest. They are also designed to be used hard by those industries.

Industrial scales are different, depending on the type of industry they'll be used in. For instance, an industrial scale used in the automotive industry could be used to weight a car, or parts of the car in large amounts. The industrial scales primary use would be axle scales for weighing cars and trucks. The weighing and counting of the parts in large amounts you would need counting scales.

The reason industrial scales are built tough is because in an industrial setting, scales are used during every day part of the job. That means they are used over and over again every day of the week. If any piece of equipment is going to be used every day, it had better be built to last.
