Doctor scales can be almost any kind of scale, but they vary depending on the individual needs of the doctor.

For instance, a pediatrician is going to use a different kind of scale than what a veterinarian would use. A baby or infant scale is one kind of scale a pediatrician might be very likely to use. This is scale that is specifically designed to measure the weight of babies.

Other types of doctor scales are specifically designed to measure the weight of older people or people who may have trouble getting around or standing for any period of time. These scales are designed so someone can simply sit in a chair to be measured. This is an incredibly easy way to measure the elderly, but as you may imagine not all doctors necessarily need this kind of scale.

There are about as many different doctor scales as there are types of doctors. Many different shapes and styles of doctor scales can be found on the web.

Just understand that their designs vary as much as their purposes, which really makes sense, if you think about it.
